Alien Trees... and a bird!

Couple of random shots taken recently.

First are from taking shots in town the other night, saw these all lit up - hadn't seen them before and had to take some shots!

And just so theres something for everyone - here's a little birdy I stumbled across:

I like what's going on in the sky for the two long exposure shots...interesting colors.

The shot of the bird has really harsh light (shot at noon?) and it looks slightly overexposed. Try cropping in tighter to remove the top third of the shot.

Samanax suggested the very same I would have suggested you do to the bird shot. He gives you this inquisitive look, which is cute and the reason why I'd keep this one, also because it is well focused, but ... yes, otherwise what Samanax is saying.

The lit up trees are an interesting sight!
Well done, I like the bit of moon in the first.
But also the "anchor" of houses in the second, so we see that these are actually an "urban" (or sub-urban?) scene. The reflection of the city lights off the clouds looks good.

The first one is my favourite I tend to agree with Samanax about the cropping, too.
