ALL Equipment in your bag

You have some serious overlap in your zoom lenses.

I would recommend eventually replacing the 18-105 mm, 70-200 mm, and 55-300 mm with:

Nikon 24-85mm f/2.8-4.0D IF AF Zoom Nikkor Lens
This lens also has a true, switchable, 1:2 macro capability (0.2m closest focus) from 35 mm to 85 mm - a capability your current selection of lenses seems to lack since your 70-200 has a closest focus of 0.95m.

Nikon 80-200mm f/2.8D ED AF Zoom Nikkor Lens
Your Tamron 70-200 has soft focus wide open in the middle focal lengths and has an AF system that is a weak link.

Nikon 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED IF AF-S VR Nikkor Zoom Lens
This lens is a step up from the entry-level 55-300 mm and delivers better image quality, more accurate, and somewhat faster AF.

Hmm, I think I need to show this list and the pictures to my wife so that she knows that as a hobby, I don't have NEAR enough stuff. Spending spree, lol, NOT!

You need to take her shoe shopping and order camera stuff online from the shoe store while she's trying them on. When asked, just casually reply "Oh thought I'd buy a couple of things for myself while you were shopping".. lol

Is that how you do it? Guess I'm screwed because she's not much into the shoe thing.

Nope, I spelled relief a bit differently. D-I-V-O-R-C-E - rotfl.

Yup.. not being into shoes does pretty much kill that plan - but I guess if she's got something that does float her boat you could use that as a substitute.
