Ok... Its a Leica M6 with a Noctilux 50mm f/1 (second generation). Well.. I know not many people here have a clue what its like to shoot with a rangefinder but forgetting the cap is a very very very easy thing to do. You can still see through the viewfinder even with the cap on.

BUT

Fellow shoots... looks confused.. spins the aperture ring
shoots again.. looks confused.. spins the ring
and SHOOTS AGAIN.

That's pretty funny.

I have to admit I've made the mistake once or twice but you quickly figure out the problem (slap yourself and move on). Heck.. its one of the reasons why I don't carry caps at all. But to do it over and over and over again.. lol.

You know, I shoot with a Contax G rangefinder so I can certainly relate to the "put the camera up to your eye and look confused" part, but the meter usually tells me what is wrong within a couple of seconds. This guy is just a moron with cash.
