Once I noticed the ghost figure, it seems exposed properly to make him look like a ghost. The problem is that I didn't even notice him. It's very busy on that altar and my eyes were kept quite occupied. And the "ghost" looks like the end of the pew is impaled through his neck. I think the exposure is fine, but the "ghost" needs to be more prominent and in a different position. Or done in another church with a simpler altar.

I would rather see it more vertical, to include the top of the altar. Looks like interesting baroque piece.

Indeed, and there are also some very nice frescos on the ceiling of the nave. When I have time enough, I will make a closer study of this church.

Actually, if it were me ... I would lose the whole ghost idea and go all-in on capturing that ALTAR. That thing is exquisite. Put that thing in pin-sharp focus, with all the plaques and candles etc., and do the same conversion here ... I want to see that.
