Am i having sensor problem?

Hi guys,

its really been awhile since i post anything here. Hope you all doing well, and had a great holidays

i really need your help in this current issue i am having. Lately i have noticed, that im having a Layer of Purple color near the objects, like a Shadow in very near the object but its purple.

i was doing a wedding yesterday, and right now am looking at the pictures, some of the pictures has this "purple shadow" that's what i will call it.
i will let you guys see the picture, its very easy to remove it via Lightroom or photoshop, but i just want what the exact problem is. is it my sensor? Maybe the lens? this is sigma 85 1.4mm

Yes, that certainly looks like C.A. It's not something that is malfunctioning with your lens, it's just a characteristic of that particular lens at that particular aperture. It has to do with the design of the lens.
