Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
so I got my camera in april, ive had no photography training, I studied art at college. I am sooo passionate about photography... its like Ive finally found something that I love to do... and spend all my spare time taking photos and trying to learn about all the technical side of it.. at the moment I only have a sony dslr camera a tripod and lightroom but I want to work towards getting more equipment. And keep trying new things. I take photos of everything! there is so much beauty in the world that I dont even think I noticed before I started getting into this!

I think I have a long way to go but am working hard ...id appreciate any critique.. heres a few of my most recent shots..

I like 3!

In #1 the flash was a little too strong.

Sent from Erics iPhone! (2) Nikon D300 50mm 1.4, 17-55 2.8, 70-200 2.8VRII, 24-70 2.8, 85mm 1.4, (2) SB900

You're not out of your league if you're doing it for yourself. If you're trying to make money, that's a different ball game. You're doing well for just picking up a camera in april! I only have a minute so no critique, I'd say just keep studying the basics and keep shooting.

well for only having your camera for 2 months I think your definitely on the right track. I am not a big fan of the second picture but #1, #3, and #4 look good to me.

The 3rd picture of the sunset .. was the red processed in in post? or was that the scene?

on #4, IMO would be much better had you moved the lighthouse to the left of the frame .. (about 1/2 way from left frame and where its at now) would have given it more (Check out the rule of thirds). Also not really into the Sepia look either but some are .. so ..

your on the right track .. Nice work!

thanks! thats really boosted my confidence! It is just for me and only hobby for now but one day id love to make some money from doing something I love... ive found a new dream and I am determined to follow it!... but im well aware that I have a long way to go, I really appreciate your comments!
