Anyone got any info on what the price will be?

Yeah that will be one to keep an eye on. I wonder how good Sigma's OS system is compared to Canon's IS.

The MSRP on it is ridiculously high and out of line....some are speculating it will be heavily discounted, and that Sigma is trying to place it at $1199 to $1249,at actual real retail...I think that'll be a very tough sell, even with OS.

But that also realistically sells for $800.

This one sells for $800 at B&H and Amazon. My guess is the OS version will sell for around $1,200.

Well the Nikon 70-200 non N version is 1900 with the N version sells for 2200. So if it does sell for 1200 I think that is a pretty good deal. =P Unless the Nikon one is miles better. Is it?
