Two amur tigers from Colchester Zoo - light was very bright on this trip and the throngs of tourists out enforce meant getting a good spot (even with the power of a big camera) was tricky, especially with glass reflections. In the end an inside area was best - at least here there was less of a problem with the glass - though I was now rather higher than ideal.
I still have a ways to go before getting to Chiller/LP level - but I think I am getting a little closer (plus 2 and a half hours at family speed round a zoo is not the best time to shoot - could have spent all day just watching the tigers alone)

a bit of haze creeping into the bottom - I think this was the bottom of the windowframe creeping into the shot

#2...those teeth say it all I think :)

I think you did well, we all know how Zoo's can be a problem. And been to Colchester Zoo more than a few times myself when I lived in the UK and found it hard to get the shots you want.

Nice series! I especially like the first two: the first because of the interaction between them, and the second because of its cross-pawed pose and dental view (it almost looks like it's laughing)

Great shots! I hope you didn't get the "let me go pet them" idea ;)

I like one and three. The only change I would suggest is cropping out the fence in number three. Nice subjects
