I think if the beige/white/cream barn/fence/wall were not in the left part of the background, the subject would stand out a lot more.

I actually have more to say, but the more I write the more it becomes about fashion and less about the photo, so I'll refrain.

I've been working lately on backing up/zooming out and getting more of the subject I think I've started taking it too far. I keep composing the shot and being like: well his hand it cut off, let me back it off. Then: well now I can't see his feet, and go further...

The OG was a 8MP crop from my 24MP raw, now were are probably at a 4MP crop

In a more controlled situation I'd probably have gone for this crop in camera, but thanks for bringing it to my attention.
