Why do you say that? The General Gallery is a place for critique, and you posted a snapshot which was quite terrible. If it wasn't for critique, you should've posted it in Just for Fun.

How can you even think that the picture in this post is even remotely good? You have Nastypeeling crap on your eye brows , you look drunk , it's a poor selfy with a bad background. What's so special about it? What do you want to here that your style is worth doing photo shoots for money , that this is a "STYLE" that will turn the face of photography? If you post for critique take it and change, ignore it or move on.

Dude, there is a difference between "hate" and honest feedback.

Your photo is not good.

It doesn't speak anything.

If your point was to look exhausted after a drag show, congratulations, you did it! ...But there is nothing deep here.

If you want to send a message about something, be it about you, your drag, your bedroom door... you're going to have to find a more effective way of doing it, because the fact of the matter is that Bossy is right... This photo is worthy of nothing more than Myspace.

This is a PHOTOGRAPHY forum.

You post photography... you get critique... you give critique... you learn... you get better... But from what I've seen, you're only interested in pats on the head, "Good jobs!" and ego stroking, rather than improvement and learning.

I'm sure you'll come back to this with something along the lines of how people just don't "get it", or how you "don't care if not everyone loves what you do", or some other defensive piece of BS... but the fact of the matter is, this photo is not good... this photo is not raw... it's not edgy... it's not anything other than a cellphone pic.

If you want to be raw and edgy, put some thought and effort into your images. Create a plan, execute that plan to the best of your ability... put in some effort to your background and your lighting... think about what you want the photo to say... what you want your expression to portray... THEN come back and post, get critique... learn from that critique... repeat the cycle... get better.
