Used a Marumi +5 close up lens on a 70-200mm F/4 L IS USM and this was the result. Not bad for a close up lens. What do you think?
ISO1600, f/6.3, 1/60, pop up flash diffused with a strip of tissue paper, 106mm focal length, and shot in a strip joint somewhere in Manila. Never thought I could do this after downing 6 bottles of San Miguel Beer

Nice! I bought a set of Digital Concept CLose Up Lenses (+1, +2, +4 and +10) and have been pretty impressed with them too. For the money they work pretty damn good!

A little difficult to use though, Brian. Have to bring the aperture down to f/16 at least to make the edges crisp and sharp and an off camera flash to light it up.

Hate cigarettes, but like this shot! Like the focus, and something about the contrast of the dirty gray ash with the bright regal gold bands around the cigarette is enticing to me. Again, I like it!

You were taking pictures in a strip joint? Around here, taking pictures in a strip club will buy you some quality time in the back alley with a bouncer named "Guido". If you're lucky, only one leg will be broken so you can still crawl to the hospital.

Not that I'd know anything about strip club etiquette mind you..........:sexywink:

Hi Dan. The owner is a good friend and also a photography addict like me so compare notes once in a while in his strip joint. We don't take photos of the strippers though. Bad for business and very bad for the cameras too.
