An experiment with an external flash

Learning to use external flash. The flash was kept at 3ft away from the subject. The aperture setting was 3.5, shutter speed 100. Used a canon 50mm lens

Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Like Frequency said.. they are all underexposed. If you don't calibrate your monitor, that might be the issue. Most monitors are turned up WAY too bright...

This is closer to where she needs to be... and I did a vertical crop to emphasize the subject.... (hope you don't mind.. you don't have NO EDIT in your profile)

Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
^ Need to up the black point a bit on that edit to help clean up that background, otherwise yes looks better exposure.

Thanks for all your comments and i agree to your points. Apparently under exposure is an issue with all my photos. I will work on improving it. By the way i have no issues on editing my photos. I will upate my profile later
