I thought I'd try something probably rather different, since these lenses are so cheap-I put a Minolta Celtic 135 f3.5 (they're worth all of $5, MAYBE) on my 7D. HOLY. CRAP. It's SHARP wide open. It's SHARP stopped down. It's just SHARP. Anyway, here's me manually focusing on a flower in some wind with a couple beetles and a wasp. The fuzzy hairlike stuff on the wasp is visible under magnification (!). Otherwise, as an image, how is this? Yes, those are two beetles mating or something.

I think those are all some variety of wasp. You have quite a few for one plant! That lens really works for you.

So what you're saying is I should have RAIDed them all. It really, really does-and I'm surprised since they're so undervalued. I figured it would be junk, honestly.

How do you mount the lens to your canon?

$10 eBay adapter ring. CLOSE to infinity focus too, but not quite. F16, then it's infinity.
