Nice shot! Is that a K&E log-log sliderule? I used to mystify my students by telling them I used to perform complex math calculations by sliding pieces of bamboo over each other. Uh oh! I just noticed spellcheck did not recognize "sliderule."

Yep. Nice catch. Back when people were tossing them out, I collected quite a batch of different slide rules. Still play with them from time to time. Once, I wowed a room of math teachers by showing them how fast one could do fractional exponents on the K&E. Some of them didn't know what a slide rule was.
