Nice shot - burrowing owls I believe? I don't think that they are angry- burrowing owls and other just look like that when they are staring at you - I've had snowy owls look at me like that from their perch on a pole. I like the "rim" light that the sunset gives to their feathers. Thanks for sharing.

Definitely burrowing owls. I recently took some shots of one close up and they do look a bit grumpy!

Lovely shot...almost a fashion shot, with the backlight and so on...very effective, though.

Thanks guys ya i took a couple of shots at different angles and ended up liking the backlight. I kinda wish i wouldve brang my reflector for some more light on them but i didnt want to scare them too much
