AAARRRGGG well that hasnt worked well putting these on, its duplicated some pics and left others out??? all best ones havent gone on and all codes are differetn,,,,why would it do that?
sorry, not very technicological

I love raptors...(fyi...and I'm not trying to be at all nasty or condescending...vultures are not birds of prey...owls, hawks and falcons are...vultures are actually scavengers, they eat carrion...very very rarely will they have killed what they eat..unless it's almost dead and cant get away...their talons are not strong enough...beak is made for ripping not picking up and carrying the carcass)
I love these....it was pics like these from a point/shoot that made me really want to get a DSLR.
I like them for what you could do with your camera!

The bats is my absolute favorite...they are so adorable~ did you take them while they were in a bat box? where did you take them, did you go to a wildlife exhibit?

I live near a place called 'The Butterfly farm' which has thousands of tropical butterflys, insects etc and other animals, reptiles etc, they are free to fly around in an enclosed area and they were just snoozing up above a door frame.
My boyfriends the better photographer he's getting a Nikon D60 at the end of the month so we'll both be learning to use that and hopefully take some ace shots,
which model to you use and how do you get on with it?

I have a Nikon D40, my husband got it for me after he saw my desire and ambition with the point and shoot...I love it, but I'm still trying to learn to use it...I'm a technology IDIOT...but I love wildlife and know more about that...lol, maybe I should focus on a career as a park ranger or zoo keeper...lol

wow...point and shoot or not...those are amazingly up close and I wish I had a place like that around here!
does your P&S have a zoom or were those creatures just that at ease with you being in their face?

Those were taken at sutton on sea on the east coast uk.....we are quite lucky to be no more than 50 miles away from coast lines

lol ma point and shoot does have quite a good zoom tbh but am not scared to get close up anyway, bugs snakes meerkats etc dont bother me.
I am also a bit of a dummy with technology and much better with wildlife...any you know what i would LOVE to be a zoo keeper lol, love any work involving animals and have always loved photographing them so that makes two of us!!
Was nice that your hubby got u the cam though ey!!!
good luck mastering it, they confuse the hell out of me but am looking forward to learning to use my fella's (previous post guy from nottingham) lol.
Do you and your husband both enjoy photography or is it your hobby nikon newbie??
