This is a really good friend of mine, that I've been wanting to shoot since high school like 4 years ago...I'm pretty happy with the outcome, but as usual would LOVE to get C&C'd by you guys to help me progress in my photography. Thanks! Enjoy! :greenpbl:

You would have trouble making those look bad no matter how hard you tried! lol! My one real dig would be that you didn't shoot the last two vertical... kill the dead space on the left and not cut her hand in #6. #4 was seriously underexposed, yes?

#4 sucked because the sun was just peeking under the bridge creating these really dark shadows, and my fill light wasn't close enough to compensate i guess. As for the crops on 6 & 7, for some reason I love having dead space...it's like a sub-conscience habit lol but I agree It would probably look better with that dead space gone. I guess that habit would really come in handy if I were shooting for a magazine or something and they were to put text over it

#2-the color is very flat. she should have more light reflected on her face.

#6-need to have some soft light reflected upward. as is, her face is shadowed with the hair over her face shielding the light source. In 7, her head is turned towards the light so it illuminates much more than #6.

you have some nice ideas and a great subject to work with though!
