Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Hi folks, this is my first post here at the ThePhotoForum.com! :D

Let me know what you think...I just took these yesterday at a couple of the local gardens. I can share the EXIF details if wanted.

More images from yesteday can be seen here: http://thewarmland.com/p45525556/

One of my favourite subjects, the colour and form always seem to captivate me.

The colour of these against the green leaves in the sun really made this stand out to me.

I am going to re-visit this Iris, it was in the shade when I came across it, I like the shallow depth of field but the contrast wasn't exactly what I was looking for...

I really liked the green/blue background of this image and thought it would make a good backdrop to the Columbines...

Heya neilvan, and welcome to ThePhotoForum.

In my opinion, you did well with these!
No doubt.

Flowers are very grateful subjects, and when the light is right, photos of flowers can look very, very beautiful. Once you also know enough about choice of aperture to blur out the backgrounds (as apparently you do), you're ready to take as wonderful photos as your Photo 1 here.

I myself also like the photo of the iris very much, though I think it can "pop" even more with an only SLIGHT adjustement of the levels in Photoshop, since that one's got such a lovely background (colour).
