I took my new 30d out yesterday and tried my hand at a few sports pics. Please C & C. These are all un edited and just cropped. I am still figuring out PS. Sorry about the watermark.

after resizing I always sharpen them a little bit in Photoshop before posting them on the web. (Filter->Sharpen->Sharpen)

nice images anyhow, a bit small but oh well...

I don't like the wheel of the car / truck with the chairs on the background of #2, same with the legs in the top left corner of #5.

Your timing is great on these photos. I really like 6, and 3 & 5 are very nice.

Yer' doing just fine. The fact that you got down on their level speaks volumes.

What creative mode are you in? What AF point are you using? What ISO range? What aperture? What shutter speed?

Sorry I can't be much help since I am a newbie I just took these pics in sports creative mode. Not sure of shutter speed or aperture. I have been playing around in manual and next saturday plan to take some more where I have control of the camera.
