I thought I would post just one more of the Hummingbird Moth, forgive the noise but I had to enlarge it quite a bit to make his features visible. If you look closely you can see that his wings mimic the feathered Hummingbird as far as the way both creatures rotate their wings in order to hover. Also you can see his proboscis (that coiled up thing) that he uncoils to reach deep into the flower in order to gather nectar.

Thanks for sharing Ron. I ran into my first one of these while living up in the mountains of Virginia and when I saw it I was wondering what it was. I haven't seen one now for over 15 years. These guys are beauties. Good capture!
