I though this was some strange local (Japan) type of bee - it hovers just like a hummingbird and unfurls its long tongue to drink the nectar. The wimgs are furious - just about invisible to the naked eye and unlike most moths this can really shift - again very much like a hummingbird.
Only when I got back and looked it up i was astonished to see it is a type of moth(!) No fluttering slowcoach this one!
