TPF Noob!
Hi,
I've been reading the forums here for a few days and they seem to be pretty good fun and informative too so I thought I'd join in the fun.
I've been interested in photograpy since I was about 15 (now 33). I used to develop and print my own B&W about 10 years back then lost interest as I moved around and didn't have room for the darkroom. With the advent of digital SLR's I took the plunge and thoroughly enjoyed the instantaneousness (is that really a word ?) of the system over film.
After two years of digital (EOS 300D and EOS 10D) I felt I had learned far more than I had ever done with film but I wanted to get back to film for the shear thrill and anticipation of the darkroom. So I dusted off my old EOS 5 and also picked up a bargain Bronica SQAi and set up a colour darkroom in our spare room.
So my main interest is the darkroom forum but I'll be reading the others too.
I look forward to some laughs, some information and maybe even helping others.
That's me.... sorry for the essay.....:blushing:
All the best,
/Phil.
