Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Hello!

Well I just got my new 30D with 28-135mm IS USM lens, and thought I would play a little today, and see what everyone thinks.

The only question I have, is that when I view the photos straight out of the camera with no resizing, if I zoom in to 100% I notice alot of grainy-ness (poor spelling) and was wondering if this is normal or not? When viewed after resizing, they look ok, i think :)

Please C&C and let me know if there is a setting in the camera that needs to be changed, or if I'm just nuts. thanks!

Note: These are from my balcony, and I did not have very much to look at.

Just make sure your ISO is set to 100 if you want the lowest noise possible.

If you zoom in all the way, you're looking at it pixel for pixel. IF you do the same thing in your computer, it'll probably look just as bad.

Yeah, you should always try to keep your ISO's as low as possible to reduce noise. Sometimes you can't due to low light so you'd have to repair the noise in photoshop or a related program.

Thanks for the replies... The ISO was set to 100... My monitor may be contributing a little, but I'm not sure. Here are some more unedited samples, and the last one, of my wife was shot in RAW and edited... somewhat edited. This would be the first RAW edit I've tried... C&C Please! Thanks!
