We have had some fantastic weather here in the Boston area this summer, sunsets galore. Caught this one on the way home tonight.

Wow, those colors are insane. Did you adjust them at all, or is this right from camera?

Right from the camera.... The sky has been awesome here this summer. Here a couple from the time frame when Canada was having those wild fires; we could smell them down here in Boston!

Awesome, I wonder if the volcanic ash in the atmosphere has anything to do with the coloring?

Volcanish ash - ash from wild fires ... anything that increases the amount of dust particles in the atmosphere will help create these deeply colourful sunsets, I think. Gorgeous colours! No wonder you felt compelled to stop and take these photos.

I, too, tend to like the first best of all, quickly followed by the last you posted.
