Another shot from our walk in the woods today. Salamanders and Mushrooms! Here's one of the mushrooms.

Nice! I like the detail on the white cap and stem. Makes me wish I could bounce some light up to lighten the shadow but that's probably just me.

Really like the contrast with the forest floor.

I think that is Macrolepiota rachode.

Oh wow! Very interesting shroom! Nice shot, I like it. Nice and crisp. About how big was that?

I'd say it was about 9 inches tall.

Wow! Ive never seen one so massive! Not tall, anyway.

I had never seen one like this either. I thought is was pretty awesome looking mushroom. They eventually start to flatten out on the top instead of being round like that.
