I met Jorge quite a few years ago along with his son when he was on assignment @ our resort in Cuba. His wife is/was a ballerina in the national ballet & his son a composer.
I visited his web site today to see if it was still active & it is. Have a look - some nice work.

I first saw Jorge first thing one morning when most folk were still in bed, shooting in the lobby of the Occidental Royal Hideaway, Cayo Ensenachos, considered the most luxurious in Cuba @ the time. Throughout the day I would see him shooting about the resort with his son toting gear.
That evening we actually met up with him relaxing in the piano bar where my sister sat next to singer Sting @ the bar the year before. He told us he was shooting promotional material for the resort but that the light was not good & he would revisit @ a later date. His son took over the grand piano & played a couple of his compositions.

The next year we revisited the resort it was no longer operated by Occidental but by Iberostar & what a downgrade that made in the facility.
