Another Round of Ospreys

Still trying to get the perfect shot. They are still just a little too far away so they are pretty heavy crops. The lighting was also slightly behind the birds which didn't help.. Once again sorry for the noise, still trying to sort out my post processing workflow. Enjoy or hate let me know.

Great images - might need to use a slightly faster shutter speed on a couple of them (next time, of course), but that second one is still a wall hanger. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks western. If I know I will be cropping a lot I try to limit the Iso to 400 because I have a noise issue. I normally shoot at least 1/1250th but I just didn't have enough light...

It's a tough shot to get, I have never gotten a shot of a catch, I have some nice osprey shots but none at the catch. I shoot a lot of air show pics you may want to shoot it as though it was an air show.

Thanks Sea, Eric and Jomike! Most people are pretty surprised to know I shoot with a Tamron 200-500 F5-6.3. I always shoot handheld. The distance I'm not sure lens maxes out at 89 meters so I'm guessing at least 300 feet, they are cropped pretty small, about 1800 x 1600 roughly.
