One Eagle in the nest, but standing near the edge, not down low sitting in the bowl like last time.... The mate was perched 30 yards away near the nest.... No visible eaglets ...YET!

I bet in another short week (5 days, I'll check back on Friday), we'll see those little heads popping up. 🤞🤞

Once we see heads popping up, I'll be able to figure out how many weeks LATER they are from last year... Last year, on March 4th, we saw little black heads....Can't wait to see them!!!

On the way back, I spied a Red-tailed Hawk in the air, then he went waaaaay across the river and perched in a tree with another Red-tailed Hawk
All these were super heavy crops....but I was thrilled to get something!

Hope you enjoy, feel free to critic 👍

Great shots. I had a couple Red-tailed Hawks flying around the house yesterday. I was able to snap a couple of shots but I don’t have a long enough zoom lens to get pics like yours.

Great shots. Nice detail. Can you tell us approximate distance you were from the bird?

WOW #7 is ONE BADA$$ look. Only thing I wish is that you would have numbered the shots, makes it easier to comment. We had a nesting pair in the bluff across the valley from us. They'd fly over us daily.

Eagles are about 80-90 yards....the hawks in the trees, about 300 yards, maybe a little more ....flying hawks, a good 250 yards
Thanks for that info. Helps me to determine what I might be doing wrong.
