Some from Saturday afternoon at D-II school here in Oklahoma.

All shot with 1D mk IV, 70-200mm f/2.8 with 4 of the 5 using a 1.4x TC.

1) f/4.0, 120mm, 1/1600 at ISO 400 with the 1.4x TC.

I like the "aerials." :) :thumbyo:

Most of my pass receptions are with 'feet on the ground,' so I rarely see that. So when it does happen, I am usually surprised.
Even watching the practice, I rarely see jump catches. Maybe our coach does not teach them that and/or make them practice it.

I see the aerials often in soccer, the jumping head butt on the ball.
 
I think if I saw the guy in number 1 charging at me I would just hand him the ball lol

Thanks, around here in college, I see receivers jumping a lot. Everyone wants that OBJ one hander spectacular catch.

Yeah the size of these guys today makes me glad I played many years ago.
