Ants from 2007

[Woodsman]

Just spending a lazy Sunday morning going through some of my old files. These were taken just after I got my first DSLR in 2007, a D50. I was out to test the new camera on a walk and caught these ants on the top of a fence post. It was in September. I don't know if it was a swarm coming off a nest or a raging battle.

Wish I had known more of what I was doing and could have gotten better shots (DOF etc). But its fun to look back and remember the outing.
