There are endless recipes for making one up yourself online, I would search for "pineapple juice sourdough starter" (there's some interesting science behind using pineapple juice to create a good host environment for the yeasts and bacteria that make up a culture).

You can also purchase dried starters online that come with instructions for reviving them.

I kind of winged it, myself. Basically you let a paste/slurry of water and flour hang out and rot and be gross for a while, periodically adding fresh water and flour (and discarding some of the resulting slurry so that you don't end up with gallons of the stuff), until a stable ecosystem emerges
