Any experiance with a Vivitar 383 Flash

Does anyone have any experiance or opinion on this flash?

Good little flash, inexpensive and durable. Check the trip voltage though, older ones have very voltage at the shoe and could damage your camera.

If you have a high voltage version and still want to use it, check out the Wein Safe-Synch (I use one with my 283)
