Hi,
Any good/bad experiences with the newer 16-35 from Nikon (replaces the 17-35 2.8)? I'm considering it for my D7000. I'm thinking about it because its supposed to be an extremely sharp lens (and its a FX lens for a future upgrade to FX camera). Ken Rockwell raves about it while others say its decent. Is it crazy idea for a DX (I would be selling my Tokina 11-16 to fund it) for landscapes and general walk-around photography? How would this be for group portraits if I stayed away from the long and short ends? Your thoughts and experiences are much appreciated! Thank you
