I think that would be a very tight fit. I can see the reasoning behind the crit/suggestion, though.

Indeed, which is what caught my attention and made me take the photo I'm not sure what the person who posted the sign was thinking.

Yup, that's the one. I think I like your take better (other than the top of the door being too close to the edge of the frame, like someone pointed out). Your image does convey how narrow this alley was, as opposed to mine. I only had my UWA lens with me, so I kinda didn't have a choice

And, of course, plenty to point your lens at.

Ya, that wide angle makes it look like you could play street hockey in there and have room for fans.
My shot was my first time out with the 85 f/1.4D - I was practically in the street.

I like your shot, but I would darken the bright area top-center. This would make the white doorway stand out more. I think it would be more dramatic.

You are reading the sign incorrectly. It should read: "No, Parking ANY time".
