anyone else have this problem at high altitude

when i was visiting someone at high altitude my flash unit, both the pop up and the 430exII, seemed to have issues, probably with the spring

the popup just wouldn't "pop', as if there was something sticky in it

but the 430 flash unit would lock into the camera very easily, it was very difficult to turn the locking mechanism.

however as soon as i left the mountains they both worked fine, leading me to believe that it was something to do with the altitude

any one else have this issue?
any input for when i return?

I have used mine as high as 14k plus... the only issue I had was having to carry the gear up the mountain! No equipment problems though


(but then, I have Nikon) (j/k)!
