Anyone try the Poly Cloth backgrounds at Dennymfg?

Hey everyone. Just got a backdrop stand from Santa and am shopping for backdrops. I plan on being mobile so I'm looking for material rather than the paper rolls. Was at Dennymfg's website and found some new stuff which hasn't been reviewd much on the web yet.

Anyone try the Poly Cloth backdrops from Denny Manufacturing? will this be good for gels? What would be the difference between these and "regular" muslins in regards to throwing color to them? I'm looking to getting either the Medium gray or the Black as I have some gels (rosco samples from B&H) which I plan on using to color the background as needed. Also I've read a variety of reccomendations for Black and gray. I'm thinking black but what are the pros and cons vs gray? (I know black absorbs more light so would have less bounce back to the person if they are close, but any reason for going gray over black?)

Any advice is appreciated. Not stuck on Denny's either. There are a few other sites which offer Polyester type "wrinkle free" backdrops. If anyone has suggestions, through them in.
