Hey guys just an update -
I ended up buying this Caden knockoff double strap. So far I've used it for one wedding and three portrait sessions. As expected, every component on the strap doesn't use as high of quality materials as the Black Rapid version, but for $16 it has been working very well so far and has been comfortable to wear. Time will tell how well this thing holds up, but the only complaint I have so far is the carabiner is pretty cheap, sometimes the threads don't catch very well, it may need to be replaced eventually.
