Anyone use the Wacom Bamboo tablets?

I just smallbought a new Wacom Intous Pro (small) tablet, and am looking forward to using it. I hear there is a learning curve, and I'm a little concerned about that. I did watch Adobe's Terry White video on the Wacom tablets. I think after unboxing, got it late yesterday afternoon, and company came over, I will set it up.

I used the Wacom Intuos Medium for a long time but later upgraded to a Wacom Cintiq pen display.

In looking at these I've seen cheaper models referred to as "art" tablets and no reference to photo editing. Is there a difference?

I wanted to buy a Wacom Bamboo last year but decided to go for the Intuos Photo. The size was just perfect. I use it every time to edit my images.

I mainly use it for dodge and burn, light painting and anything that requires the brush tool in Photoshop. Now that I'm getting the hang of it, I find it awkward to go back using the mouse
