Anyone Using the Ipod for Photo Storgae on the Go?

I think I already know the answer to this question b/c I've heard people trashing the Ipod on here before. I'm getting an Ipod for my music soon and I was wondering if anyone thought it would be worth the extra $30 for the camera connector. Oh yeah...Will the Ipod even work with my 350D? I looked at theapple website, but it only liked the 300D and the 20D.

never used an ipod before, but I have a flashtrax 40gb storage device. Theyre good things to have, but make sure you have back up memory cards, as they do not read as fast as a memory card reader.

I thought it about it but the connector was kinda expensive and mines all full of music!

its probably more cost effective just to get an portable storage device with the card reader built in. I have the 40gb wolverine for $180 and works so far. My only wish is that it supported Firewire.

Then again... an Ipod can store and play music too..
