I should have left that building on the left alone...but when one doesn't take their time, quality will most likely me lacking...I blackened the top of the car to obscurity...just to let it "merge" with the sky...

I'm glad you liked it.

Do you notice the diagonal lines and level horizon give the car a stronger sense of motion?

The radical tilt you had in your original, and the vertical orientation did just the opposite. It diminished the sense of motion an effective car photo should convey.

Also the original is underexposed and not separated from the background, lightwise. Some unmodified, strobed light low and camera left would have made the car 'pop' (separate it from the background). A second light low, in front of the car, and pointing back towards the camera could have provided some rim light and light under the car
