Let me know what you think.

Other then the sky being over exposed, I like this one the best of your pictures from Balboa so far.

Thanks, it was a very overcast day so there wasn't anything I could do about sky. I'm going back tomorrow, maybe I will have better luck.

I think this is a very good shot. The composition
is excellent which makes for an interesting photo.
It could be improved a lot if you use photoshop
to increase contrast and saturation, and sharpen.

If you choose a different time of day you may find
interesting shadows which would give the pic a
more dramatic look. If you have Photoshop you could
also put in a new sky. I have a folder I use in Photo-
shop containing nothing but sky photos. Anytime you
see an interesting sky it's good to photograph it.

It's amazing what can be done in PS. Many times I've
taken a ho-hum shot and made it into a wow! photo.
Regards, Bob

the sky is blown out and the overall photo lacks in sharpness and contrast. some more dof could be used to blur the upper part of the image that distub a little bit.

The blown out sky is an issue, yes, but what bothers me most about this image is the right side - the little shelf on the arch. I think if you had taken two steps to the left before shooting, enough of the walkway would have been visible that the shelf wouldn't be a problem. Just my opinion. ;)
