I have posted Delicate Arch before, but this is a rework.

I wasn't up for the hike to go right up to the arch, so I shot with a long lens from across the canyon.Nice photo...most shots are from the other side....I noticed this right off the bat.
That's the biggest problem with being a tourist, and having only a limited amount of time in an area. If the weather doesn't cooperate, you have no choice but to take what you get or get nothing at all. Which is why I have no objections to replacing skies when necessary...Nice angle of this shot. I have plans of going to Arches in July for Milkyway shots. Hoping for clear skies.

I concur. I always try to have a plan B. If you can't get what you came for there is usually something else to shoot. That's the biggest problem with being a tourist, and having only a limited amount of time in an area. I had to walk a while to a big rock area where I could see the arch from across the canyon. I don't remember the exact location, but it was not a parking lot.I also didn't want to hike a mile to Delicate Arch. So I caught this picture from the parking lot a mile away. Looks like you shot yours from the same lot? There also was a cute little girl who was coloring her arches book with crayons. I couldn;t let that one go. By the way, Delicate Arch is on Utah's license plates as the icon for the state.
