It was meant as a bit of fun, actually. I thought the smilie was a clue.
But by starting a thread asking what religion people are and why they are not celebrating a Christian festival... That's not starting a religion thing then?

given what this thread is quickly turning into, I am deleting my post above, which had nothing to do with religion, but I will not have anything standing in a thread that quickly slides in that direction. I'm sad to find that normal conversations on anything touching religion cannot be safely had. I'm going back to enjoying Christmas scotch.
