ARGH! Chopped me ankles! How best to fix this?

This shot is SOOC with no edits yet. I just sat down to process some photos from the beach and noticed I chopped our ankles! Stupid NewB mistake. :banghead:

Should I leave us with chopped ankles or is there a better way to fix this? Can I crop just below our hands and get away with it?

Im not saying this is the best crop to do, but I remember reading somewhere that if a limb is chopped off there are places to crop so instead of a goof it looks like on purpose. But a drastic crop is needed so the obvious goof is not noticeable.

Bynx's recommendation is good; I might be inclined to go just a bit lower; just low enough so that the girl has her hands, but not so low as to show either the hem of her skirt, or the cuffs of Mom's trousers.

When I did the first crop I thought of the girls hand, just as bad as a foot. Here is the final, as per suggestion by tirediron. Its also an 8 x 10 crop so proportions are better. Besides this pic is more about the portraits, which are all really good.
