ARGHH!! I NEED HELP

Ok, While looking through some old photos I shot on my last San Fransisco trip, I ran across this one. Loved the way it looked, its been awhile so i dont recall exactly what editing was done to it. Im fairly a noob when it comes to photoshop and its REALLY bothering me that i cant get the purple out of the waves. Looks like it made the shadow area purple, but so help me I dont know what to do to alleviate this. Any help would be great. Also C&C the rest of the shot if y'all would. Thanks

You could try adjusting the hue slider of blue.

Select the area, then dial down the blue and a little of the red.

One method I use (usually to pull cyan out of water) is to use the hue/balance function in Photoshop. By default it will try to change all the colors in the picture, but there's a dropdown so that you can only affect certain colors. Pretty sure purple is one of them, just shift it to blue and you should be fine. Sorry I can't be more specific. I don't have Photoshop on the computer I'm typing on.
