~ Argus MH ~

I recently had the opportunity to photograph ARGUS MH (Master Hunter). A beautiful and highly accomplished Standard Poodle gun dog, ARGUS now 10 years old, currently has 20 qualifying scores as an AKC Master Hunter.

I first photographed ARGUS at an AKC Hunt Test held on Long Island a few years ago after my eyes were captivated by his athleticism and beauty whilst working afield. I was most pleased to watch him at working in an AKC Master Hunter stakes once again this past weekend in Connecticut. ARGUS did not disappoint and is still performing with great drive, style, and an obvious love for the hunting of birds.
