Khairi, what do we see in the first photo? Is it something large (skyscrapers outside your window?) or something small inside your apartment? I really can't tell.

As to the leather piece: may I remind you that this PhotoForum has also got a section called "Themes" and that within that section there's a theme running on "Textures"? It'd go there VERY WELL.
