Finally, a True Saharan Sunset
First shot at 7:43 and the second, 14 minutes later at 7:57...
Amazing what a few extra minutes can bring...

Nice! I was wondering when you'd start seeing some of those sunsets.

We've had the dust for about five days now but last night was the first time we got color in the sky. I took my boat out this morning to try to get a morning sunrise through a cypress stand but due east, the cloud of dust was too thick even to see the sun disk until close to 7:15 am...then it was just muggy ugly.

We had it here in GA yesterday and I was waiting for the sunset - instead, storms blew up everywhere and we were socked in by rain!

Nice captures of very pretty skies! I'm not going to miss this dust, though. Ugh.

Beautiful shots! We've had it the last two or three days but so far it just produces extra heat and hazy, dark blue-grey skies. Hopefully that changes soon so I can get a few pics of it.

Very nice photos!
