asparagus and black socks?

I have no idea why I'm submitting these, but I just thought what the heck? I'm sending these to a friend for her birthday as a joke, because I usually make this yummy wasabi mayonnaise dip with asparagus, and her asparagus usually turns flaccid.

I cleverly call it...."Asparagus in Glass"

The black socks picture is because I run in black socks all the time (this style is going to sweep the nation soon, watch out!) and she makes fun of me. I had a hard time thinking of a decent way to photograph socks...

I like the sock shot too. I wear black socks when biking; I can't get the nasty muddy stains out of the white ones.

Oh, just you wait...soon, everyone will be running in black socks. In fact, didn't I see Nate (from Six Feet Under) wearing them when he was running? Why yes, I believe I did.
