Asphalt munchin' in Italy

That's how a small, dull village just outside Piacenza, Italy would have looked like some 20 years ago if cows were square and ate asphalt.

these weird concrete cows have been munching asphalt for at least 20/25 years and i've been seeing them for a whole lifetime anytime i travelled or -later- drove from my hometown to the countryside.
i love how both the veggie van and the car passing by in the background make the photo look some 15/20 years old.

What an odd sight! Thanks for sharing it. And I agree, there's kind of an ageless quality to the shot.

yeh they surely catch one's attentions. there are three or four of them and took few snaps but this one looks the best to me.
